Overview
Springbank Hill is a vibrant and growing community. The rolling hills, trees, open spaces and pathways are something that makes our community attractive to so many families and individuals. Through our ongoing communications with members, events and properties (e.g. The Springbank Hill Community Garden) we strive to create a vibrant and supportive neighborhood. You will find a boundary map at the end on this document for your reference.
Any business within the Springbank community area, and within Calgary, can purchase a business membership. Whether you are a home-based business, an entrepreneur, a small business, a large company, or a not-for-profit, we would love to have you join!
It would be great, although not necessary, for your organization to offer our residential members on your merchandise and/or services. We will promote your discounts to our members.
How will your organization be promoted?
Business members will be listed on the SBHCA (Springbank Hill Community Association) website. Also, whenever a resident sign-up or renews their membership, an email will be sent to them outlining the perks of membership, including a list of business partners.
What type of discount should I offer?
Each business is unique, so we leave it up to you to decide what works best for your company. A few examples for consideration:
- 10% off a purchase
- Special holiday or seasonal offering
- A free consultation
How will I know if someone is an SBHCA member?
SBHCA members have access to a member card via their membership account. We will encourage members to print a copy of their membership or save a copy on their phones. You will just need to ask for their member card for proof of membership.
How can I ensure my staff know we’re part of this program?
SBHCA provides each business member with a 1-pager that outlines the program and the discount your organization is offering. Leave this card by your checkout or in a staff room so that everyone can be informed.
