Goals:
- To serve our community with a strong complement of programs, services, and events
- To seek improvements of our facilities and infrastructure in support of our vision
- To develop and support diverse revenue streams to ensure financial sustainability of the SBHCA
- To grow our membership levels in 2025 to a total of 300 residential and business members, with a 5-year goal to have 20% of all households as members
- To excel at executing effective and timely communications with our members, directors and volunteers
- To encourage an increased level of volunteerism in support of SBHCA work
- To address succession planning and capability development requirements for our SBHCA board
Strategies:
- Host a minimum of 5 annual community events
- Operate our children’s soccer and t-ball program
- Operate 2 seasonal ice rinks and our community garden
- Develop and execute a capital program that includes a minimum of 3 projects during the plan period
- Continue to enhance an integrated communication plan for website, email, social media & e-newsletter
- Continue work to represent the best interests of the community on matters relating to traffic, safety, , and new developments resulting from the Area Structure Plan (ASP)
- Sponsor two AGLC casinos over plan period
- Hold an annual revolving membership drive for residents and businesses and introduce a new business sponsorship program
- Pursue grants and corporate donations to help fund our capital program, events and initiatives
